About PP Homopolymer Natural
PP Homopolymer Natural is our recycled polypropylene grade. With an MFI of 10 g/10 min it flows easily and fills thin-walled and detailed moulds without pushing injection pressure, which is why household article moulders ask for this grade by MFI.
Typical products are buckets, mugs, basins, storage boxes, containers, lids, hangers and similar household and consumer goods. The natural pellet takes colour masterbatch cleanly, so one grade covers a whole range of coloured SKUs.

What does MFI 10 mean for my moulding?
MFI 10 (melt flow index, g/10 min at 230 °C / 2.16 kg) is a medium-to-easy flow for PP. It fills household article moulds readily and cycles fast, without the flash risk of very high-flow grades.
Is this homopolymer or copolymer PP?
Homopolymer. It gives higher stiffness and a cleaner natural colour than copolymer PP. For products that need impact resistance in the cold, a copolymer or a blend may suit better; ask us.
Can I use it for food containers?
Ekoplast PP is recycled from post-industrial sources and is intended for non-food household and industrial items. For food contact use a virgin or certified food-grade PP.
