About LD Blue
LD Blue is a pre-coloured recycled LDPE produced from blue post-industrial film waste. It is one of our most requested coloured grades because blue is standard in industrial and utility packaging.
Typical uses are industrial packaging film, utility bags and covers, tarpaulin liners and moulded items. The colour is stable through the melt and the pellet processes like our natural grades, so it drops into an existing line without adjustment.

What is LD Blue typically used for?
Industrial packaging film, utility bags, covers and liners, and moulded utility items. Anywhere blue is the product colour and cost matters.
Is LD Blue the same as HDPE Blue Drum granules?
No. LD Blue is low-density polyethylene from blue film waste and is a film grade. HDPE Blue Drum is high-density polyethylene from drums, is much stiffer, has an MFI of 0.5 and is used for blow moulding and pipes.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. A 500 kg trial lot is the usual starting point. Smaller hand samples for lab testing can be arranged on request.
