About LD Red
LD Red is a pre-coloured recycled LDPE made from red post-industrial film waste. Because the colour is already dispersed through the polymer, it saves the cost and the dosing step of adding red masterbatch on the line.
Processors use it for red carry bags, promotional and retail packaging, utility bags and moulded items where a strong, consistent red is the goal. Colour is consistent within a lot and stated on the COA.

Is the red shade consistent between lots?
Colour is consistent within a lot and we hold the shade as close as the feedstock allows between lots. If you need an exact match to a reference, send us a sample and we will confirm against the current lot before dispatch.
Do I still need red masterbatch?
For most bag and packaging uses, no. The pellet runs red as supplied. Some customers add a small percentage for a deeper shade.
Can I get other colours?
We currently stock red and blue as coloured LDPE grades. Other colours can be supplied against volume commitments. Ask us what is available this month.
